Manhattan Bridge Views

View from Manhattan Bridge, overlooking FDR Drive

If you’re looking for epic cityscape photos of Manhattan, you should definitely walk across the Manhattan Bridge. It provides many different perspectives of the downtown streets and skyline in just a short walk. While most people only walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge provides better views of the city. You can start either in DUMBO or Chinatown, and make your way across to see views over the river, FDR drive, and Lower East Side. Go during sunset to catch the colors behind the skyline, and wait until twilight to see the city lights come on. Be warned that subway trains passing by can be loud and disturbing, so don’t expect a peaceful walk over the river, but the photos can make it all worth it.
